Now we are back from the cold and damp of Scotland, time to write and say how much we enjoyed the wonderful afternoon tea you and your staff provided
for us last week.
From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciate having someone on hand with a bit more muscle power than we can
muster to manoeuvre Doris’ wheelchair safely so that she could enjoy her afternoon out.
Given that she is a lady who has cruised the world, been on Concorde and enjoyed the Orient Express, her visit to you must have been a joy, a
reminder of elegant times past, her late husband would have thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon too.
It was all splendid a cake stand full of fresh and enticing goodies excellent pastries and divine lemon drizzle cake cannot be improved upon and
the cucumber sandwiches brought back a memory of tea at Goodwood House years ago. Magic!
It was a truly lovely afternoon, which we all enjoyed and we are very grateful to you and your staff for providing a real treat for Doris. To be
so cosseted and to have a delicious and elegant served afternoon tea was super. Lovely too, to sit in your garden in the sun. Pretty perfect all round.
