National Memorial Arboretum
Netherstowe House is superbly situated for travel to and from the National Memorial Arboretum as it is just a short 10 minute drive door to door, (5.8 miles / 9.3 km).

The Lichfield Festival brings the best national and international artists and performers to the city each year for a summer celebration of classical music, dance, drama, film, jazz, literature, poetry, visual arts and world music. Sweet Retreat
If you have ever swooned over custom cupcakes and wished yours could look as beautiful, here is your chance to learn. At the hands of our professional cake maker Julie, the complete novice through to the experienced enthusiast will have fun learning skills you can do at home, using simple cake decorating tools. You will learn how to spread and pipe buttercream icing perfectly, plus how to create delicate decorations from fondant to adorn your cakes along with sprinkles, glitter and more. Our cupcake classes provide a hands-on opportunity to develop your cake decorating skills in a fun, practical and supportive learning environment whilst relaxing in beautiful surroundings. At the end of the workshop, you will take home a box containing six of your own delicious creations. During your stay you'll enjoy:

Lichfield Garrick Theatre
Appropriately named after one of Lichfield's most famous sons, actor/manager David Garrick, the Lichfield Garrick has events and entertainment 6 days a week presenting a huge range of theatrical styles from artists across the world. The Lichfield Garrick incorporates two performance spaces and four levels of gallery space for the visual arts. The Main Auditorium's Fly Tower and Orchestra Pit provided the venue with facilities to attract opera, ballet and touring productions to the city. The "black box" Studio theatre brings a new kind of theatre space to the city, giving a venue for more intimate and experimental work.

The Mill Course is an 18 hole par 72 championship course and The Spires, a par 3 executive course.
